Waldorf Rice Salad |
|
A classic salad favorite with a value added twist. Chopped celery, red apples, raisins and walnuts mixed with UNCLE BEN'S® CONVERTED® Brand Rice and served on a bed of lettuce. |

Ingredients - 3 1/2 cups UNCLE BEN’S® CONVERTED® Brand Original Rice
-
1 1/2 cups
Walnuts, coarsely chopped

2 qts.
Water
-
1 Tbsp.
Salt
-
1 1/2 qts.
Whipped topping
-
1/2 cup
Sugar
-
1 qt.
Mayonnaise
-
1 qt.
Celery, sliced
-
5 large
Red apples, cored and coarsely chopped
-
1 1/2 cups
Raisins
Directions - Cook rice in water with salt according to package directions.
- Cover and chill.
- Fold whipped topping and sugar into mayonnaise.
- Add celery, apples, raisins and walnuts to chilled, cooked rice.
- Fold in whipped topping mixture.
