Mars Donates $20 Million in Cash and In-Kind Donations for COVID-19 Relief

To Our Valued Customers,

During this highly unsettled time, we want you to know that we are doing our utmost to keep our people safe and our products moving. First and foremost is the protection of Mars Associates. For those workers essential to the running of our factories and facilities, we have implemented health and safety procedures including health screenings, social distancing and the strict use of personal protective equipment to make sure our communities and customers stay safe.

We’ve also been working hard to ensure the uninterrupted availability of products you rely on. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Almost all of our factories are up and running. We have been able to minimize disruption to our supply chain and processing facilities.
  • We are currently stocked on all foodservice items, with the exception of a select few UNCLE BEN’S® Rice SKUs. We may not be able to fulfill requests for retail items due to highly increased retail demand. We are focusing on SKUs with the highest demand and streamlining their delivery to minimize supply disruption and get products to where they are most needed.
  • We’re proud to share that Mars is giving $20 million in cash and in-kind donations to support the communities in which we operate, including $3M in grants from the Mars Wrigley Foundation to support local organizations and $2M to The United Nations’ World Food Programme.

We’re standing by to address your questions, talk through your concerns and help you through the coming weeks and months. Please contact your Mars Foodservices Rep with any questions about delivery, timing and future forecasting.

Together, we will continue to do what we do best: feed the world.
