Ingredients

  • 1 bag BEN’S ORIGINAL™ Classic Cornbread Stuffing Mix
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup (8 oz) butter (unsalted)
  • 4 cups grated white cheddar cheese
  • Egg Wash
  • Panko Breadcrumbs for coating

Cornbread Stuffing Croquettes

Makes: 15 servings

Direction

  1. Prepare stuffing according to package instructions.
  2. Mix in grated cheddar cheese.
  3. Transfer to a hotel pan, cover, and refrigerate.
  4. Once cool, form into 1-2 oz balls. (1.5 “ in diameter)
  5. Roll each ball in beaten eggs or pasteurized egg mixture then panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Deep fry until outside is golden brown and crispy, and inside is warm throughout.
  7. Serve immediately.
