Caramel Apple Boca Bites made with TWIX® Cookie Bars

Ingredients

Apple Pie Filling:

  • 1 c TWIX® Cookie Bars, chopped ¼”
  • ½ c apple pie filling, no sugar added

Caramel Frosting:

  • 1¼ c vanilla frosting, prepared
  • 6 T caramel sauce, prepared
  • 4 lb biscuit dough, raw

Assembly for 1 Bite:

  • 1 boca bite, baked and cooled
  • ¼ T caramel frosting (above)
  • ½ t TWIX® Cookie Bars, chopped ¼”
  • ½ t caramel sauce, prepared

Caramel Apple Boca Bites made with TWIX® Cookie Bars

Makes: 96 bites

Direction

Apple Pie Filling:

  1. Add apple pie filling to a food processor until semi-smooth. Mix with the chopped TWIX® Cookie Bars. Set aside.

Caramel Frosting:

  1. Combine frosting and caramel sauce. Set aside.

Boca Bite Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare sheet trays with parchment paper lightly sprayed with oil.
  2. Similar to preparation of raviolis, roll the biscuit dough into ⅛” thick long rectangle and brush with water.
  3. Portion ½ teaspoon dollops of apple pie filling across one edge of the prepared dough and fold over the other half to seal the filling between 2 layers of dough
  4. Cut out the boca bites with a 1.75" ring cutter (discard excess dough or reserve for other uses) and place on prepared sheet trays.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove boca bites and cool completely.

Assembled Bites:

  1. Top each prepared boca bite with caramel frosting followed by chopped TWIX® Cookie Bars and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
  2. Serve 2 bites per serving.
