Cornbread Stuffing Croquettes
Ingredients
- 1 bag BEN’S ORIGINAL™ Classic Cornbread Stuffing Mix
- 6 cups water
- 1 cup (8 oz) butter (unsalted)
- 4 cups grated white cheddar cheese
- Egg Wash
- Panko Breadcrumbs for coating
Cornbread Stuffing Croquettes
Makes: 15 servings
Direction
- Prepare stuffing according to package instructions.
- Mix in grated cheddar cheese.
- Transfer to a hotel pan, cover, and refrigerate.
- Once cool, form into 1-2 oz balls. (1.5 “ in diameter)
- Roll each ball in beaten eggs or pasteurized egg mixture then panko breadcrumbs.
- Deep fry until outside is golden brown and crispy, and inside is warm throughout.
- Serve immediately.
