Ingredients

  • 24 each TWIX® Peanut Butter Cookie Bars
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup concord grape jelly
  • 2 boxes tempura batter mix

Crispy PB&J Made with TWIX® Peanut Butter Cookie Bars

Direction

  1. Preheat a fryer to 350ºF.
  2. Place TWIX® Peanut Butter Cookie Bars in a freezer.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar and vanilla extract; whip and set aside.
  4. Prepare tempura batter according to the box instructions.
  5. For each serving, place two TWIX® Cookie Bars side by side. Pipe peanut butter mousse over top and spread a 1/2 tablespoon jelly over the peanut butter.
  6. Place back in the freezer for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove from freezer, dip in tempura batter and fry until golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes.
