Mini Pastry Cream Cups Made with M&M’s® Red and Green Chocolate Candies

Makes: 15 Servings

  • ¼ cup M&M’S® Red and Green Chocolate Candies
  • ⅓ cup DOVE® Milk Chocolate, melted
  • 2 each egg yolks
  • 1½ cups whole milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2½ T cornstarch pinch of salt
  • ½ t vanilla extract
  • 1 box mini phyllo shells, baked


  • In a saucepan, combine egg yolks, milk, sugar, cornstarch, salt and vanilla.
  • Over medium-low heat, constantly whisk mixture until it becomes thick. Remove from heat. Fold in melted DOVE® Milk Chocolate.
  • Set saucepan into an ice water bath.
  • When cream is cooled, portion into prepared phyllo cups. Sprinkle with M&M’S® Red and Green Chocolate Candies and serve.
