Ingredients

  • 5 churro Mexican pastry dough strips, 5-inch, frozen, deep fried, warm
  • Cinammon sugar, as needed
  • 2 (#16) scoops ice cream, vanilla
  • 1/4 cup TWIX® Caramel Cookie Bar, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. caramel sauce, commercially prepared

TWIX® Caramel Churros Sundae

Makes: 1 servings

Mexican churros sundae features a trio of golden crispy flash-fried pastry strips tossed in cinnamon and sugar topped with scoops of vanilla ice cream, buttery hot caramel sauce and crushed chunks of chopped TWIX® Caramel Cookie Bar.

Direction

  1. Toss churro strips in cinnamon sugar; arrange in shallow bowl.
  2. Top churros with 2 scoops ice cream.
  3. Sprinkle 1/4 cup chopped TWIX® Caramel Cookie Bar over ice cream.
  4. Drizzle 2 tablespoons caramel sauce over sundae.
