Voodoo Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 Chocolate cake piece, large
  • 3/4 cup Chocolate sauce
  • 2 bars (4 pieces total) TWIX® Caramel Cookie Bars, split in half lengthwise
  • 1 tbsp., heaping Pecan halves, toasted
  • 1 oz. Caramel sauce

Voodoo Cake

Makes: 1 serving

It’s just what the witch doctor ordered! Drench a slice of chocolate cake with chocolate sauce and decorate with shards of TWIX® Caramel Cookie Bars spiking up in every direction. Topped with toasted pecans and drizzles of caramel sauce, this dessert is pure magic.

Direction

  1. Place cake in center of large dessert plate.
  2. Drench cake in chocolate sauce. (Sauce should pool onto plate and surround cake.)
  3. Randomly insert pieces of TWIX® Caramel Cookie Bars into cake, one-quarter of the way down. You want the pieces to look like random spikes jutting mysteriously outward from the cake for a “voodoo effect.”
  4. Sprinkle pecan halves over cake and plate.
  5. Drizzle cake and plate with caramel sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.

Hints

  • The cake is best when warmed (microwaved 10 seconds) prior to saucing and adding the other ingredients.
